Today is the one day of the year you can guarantee every social media channel will be buzzing with empowering posts and articles celebrating inspirational females – this is why International Women’s Day is the BEST.
International Women’s Day is about so much more than social media though. When it first began, women were demanding that they are given the right to vote (long before we had the technology, as we know it today!). International Women’s Day remains important today, you can read more about why here.
We figured, there’s no better way to celebrate International Women’s Day, than promoting business and marketing events in the UK for women. As a company director, I’ve personally attended women-only workshops, networking events and conferences, and I’ve found them hugely inspiring. There’s something about females coming together, exchanging ideas and support one another, that motivates me more than ever to develop my business.
